COMPANY HISTORY

Founded in 2015, The Southern Seahorse began as a custom embroidery business specializing in sports towels, beach towels, and personalized monograms.

 

In 2019, the company expanded its services with the launch of The Southern Seahorse Print, offering printed marketing materials such as business cards, postcards, door hangers, etc.

In 2022, a third division—The Southern Sign and Exhibits (SSAE)—was established to provide signs, banners, decals, and other visual branding solutions.

In 2025, SSAE merged with The Southern Seahorse Print and rebranded as The Southern Sign Company.

That same year, the company relocated to a new facility at 2804 West Mall Drive in Florence, Alabama, allowing for expanded production, equipment, and services.

 

Today, The Southern Sign Company offers a full range of marketing solutions, including paper products, signs, banners, flags, interior office graphics & wallart, as well as vehicle wraps and decals—helping businesses increase visibility and strengthen their brand.
